Commission B Supports Additional Budget for Food and Transportation Subsidies

Jakarta City Council's Commission B Deputy Chairman, Wahyu Dewanto said his side supports the additional budget for Regional-Owned Enterprises that running food and transportation subsidy in City Budget Amendment 2025.

Wahyu said there had been a number of budget shifts, especially in the transportation and food sectors.

"There are 15 groups of food. Then service extention for transportation in Bodetabek," he said.

Commission B Emphasizes Importance of a Training Participant Database

He added that the total additional budget proposed for these sectors reached Rp 1 trillion. This includes proposals from Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta, and regional-owned enterprises (BUMDs) that handle the food sector.

"Now we are running exercise for the proposals. We'll hold Banggar meeting for this. Services for transportation and food must run well," he added.

Wahyu admitted Commission B remains supporting the additional budget for the sake of community welfare.
